So after finally getting settled back into our house in New Jersey, we finally were able to buy a camera. Things have been crazy here between buying a new business and trying to transition from living in D.C. I feel like things have just somewhat calmed down since we moved back here in early May. So as of now, Leighann has been doing better. She doesn't seem to get sick as much but she still gets tired a lot easier now. It's been kind of wierd though. She actually lost weight the first three months of the prenancy and has just now started to get a little bigger. She's starting to get her belly bump now and it's kind of funny to see her in her uniform for work. She wears a form fitting sailor outfit and it's slowly not having much room left to expand. So we have finally got some belly pictures and some of them are from a few weeks back because well I'm lazy when it comes to this blogging stuff. We also have a picture of the stuff my brother, my mom, Leighann's maid of honor, Karen, and our friend Anna Marie got us. The stuff is cute but we still have to get the baby some hokie and phillies stuff. We don't want the baby getting confused and thinking it is a UVA fan or a Mets fan when the baby is young. I also finally took a picture of the first ultrasound. We are getting kind of anxious too because in a week or two, we are going to set up the ultrasound to find out what the baby's sex is.
Our blob at six weeks. Look real closely and you can see nothing. Just a blob.

This is the first belly picture we took. It is Leigh with a goofy smile at 11 weeks.

This is Leigh a week later in Atlantic City losing our money at 12 weeks.

This is our most recent photo with Leigh's noticable belly bump at 16 weeks. Little deathstrike douglass(still working on convincing leigh to name the baby deathstrike, it may take a few more weeks but she'll come around) is looking pretty healthy.

This is all the baby stuff we've gotten from friends and family. Danny got the baby ron jon stuff. My mom got the tiny little socks and the baby frog blanket that are cute but will fit the baby for three days. Karen went to disney world and bought the baby its first stuffed animal, Simba, and she also got the bibs for when I eat. Anne Marie got the rattle and the baby einstein book because we all know he is going to get the genius genes from Dad ( I definitely spelled genius wrong and can't write a good sentence when I am trying to be funny and Leigh had to correct me but anyway)

Well that's about all I feel like writing today because I'm tired and this took too long. So anyway when we find out in the next week or two about what the baby will be, we'll post something new. Stay tuned.
you need to let me know what you all need.
ReplyDeletei think the name deathstrike definitely fits a girl better. all the boys would want her, and be scared of her at the same time. would save you a lot of hassle on being over protective.
just be careful not to give her any name that could later come back to haunt, such as anything that a drunk person could conjure up..
its the first little phezzy run baby! awwww!
